Minutes from April were read and accepted.
Review of Mail
Letter received from Ted Locke as independent contractor for field work
Letter from Faye Zabarsky accompanied by photographs. She indicated that she would give us any information we requested on their home but were refusing access to the home for the purposes of an interior inspection. The assessors have agreed to draft a questionnaire form which would be requested at the point of refusal.
An announcement of a CSC class on entering Chapter 61 information in the CAMA system is being offered in Springfield. Jessica will attend.
The Board will be seeking information on room counts in finished basements with rooms below grade. Will inquire with DLS and Duane Adams as well.
The Board has placed an announcement in the Tattler with the hopes of beginning to educate the Townspeople in the workings of the assessors’ office. See copy attached.
